Well I have been gone from SL for a couple months, WoW got the better of me. I am back part time, but should be adding more things and getting up to date on new developments in SL. Do come back now!

Celine Dion at the door? Err No...
Karyukai will be celebrating autumn this Saturday, the 20th from 6-7:30pm.
This is the Gion Odori (thus the bad joke for a title -editor) and is sure to be a great event, so don't miss it!

Moulin Rouge Geisha style
Amatsu Okiya will be performing at Moulin Rouge the 15th and 16th. 2 performances each day at 7 and 8pm SLT at the Moulin Rouge Theatre.
"Falling Leaves", a performance by Amatsu Mitsukai Okiya Geisha and students. The Okiya is a residential training school for geisha. The training includes (classical) Kyoto geisha tradition, the arts, poetry, music, conversation, and tea service.
There are three production numbers in the program.
The first is "Autumn Haiku", a selection of Japanese Haiku and dance accompanied by a shakuhachi, which is a Japanese flute.
The second presentation is "The Pine Tree Lovers". A Japanese love story narration, accompanied by the koto - a stringed Japanese instrument - and background dancers.
The third presentation is set against a backdrop of artistic renditions from our Okiya members and a group dance accompanied by the shamisen - a Japanese three-stringed instrument.

Blue Lotus' Minarai Tabata Jewel will be having her Misedashi Nov 14 at 2pm SLT at Blue Lotus. POC is Mikido Yoshikawa.

Death by skillet
About a week ago I was out shopping for a nifty backpack, which I found at Angry Monkey's. The treasure hunter backpack. Well, on it are some dangling skillets. My friend Eladrienne saw these and told me she wanted to make a skillet wars thing in Caledon, but needed the skillet.
My secret...I use to be a chef of course!
Well I made it for her and of course we had to try it out. After many charges at one another, I laid low my opponent...
